About the Role- Reporting to the newly appointed Head Of Service Enablement; Sean Hanrahan. This is a pivotal role within the Service & Asset Lifecycle Portfolio. As the Manager Service Enablement, Western Treatment Plant you will be responsible for:
- Leading and supporting the Asset Management Function for Melbourne Water's Western Treatment Plant - Werribee.
- Coaching and mentoring highly skilled and motivated Employees in roles such as Service Planners and Asset Planners, You provide direction and guidance to a medium sized team.
- This Manager will have proven capabilities working with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- We are seeking a Manager who can drive business plan outcomes and ensure the team meet their commitments to '24 and '25 targets.
About you:- You are open to a 12 month engagement, as this opportunity is available to backfill an internal Secondment. The role is predominately based at head office with some regular travel to Werribee and WFH flexibility too.
- You have significant experience in managing infrastructure assets
- Sound financial management principals - accurate forecasting, expenditure control and achieving budget
- Familiar with best practice asset management regimes, incorporating integrated growth, compliance and asset renewal outcomes.
- Passionate about managing others and leading by example
