The Manager, Student Support is a key position in providing leadership in the provision of student services within Hub Central and across the University. The Manager, Student Support is responsible for developing strategy, implementing operational plans to ensure the service provision is effective, efficient and enhances the student experience and demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement.
This position takes a student-focussed, one stop approach to service in an open contemporary working environment. The role will build and maintain strong relationships across the University and engage with students, academic staff and professional staff.
As the Student Support Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our students. Your responsibilities include coaching and developing the front-facing student service team, monitoring team performance against KPIs, and overseeing daily operations and budgetary impacts. With your strong leadership skills and commitment to student well-being, you’ll contribute to creating a positive and supportive campus environment.

To be successful you will need:
- Proven ability in developing, creating and implementing strategies to support service improvement.
- Experience in leading a high performing and service focused team.
- Demonstrated financial and business acumen, able to analyse data to make decisions, implement strategies and achieve results with limited/budgeted human, financial and material resources
- Proven ability to identify future opportunities and establish challenging goals and plans which realise the opportunities.
- Proven technical ability, set up web pages, displays, create, trouble shoot etc.
- Demonstrated knowledge and interest in the Australian Higher Education sector
- Demonstrated experience in leading a student services team and knowledge of the major issues and trends effecting student services is desirable
