Ryde Therapy Manager
Full time

A fantastic opportunity exists to join Cerebral Palsy Alliance team as the Therapy Manager of our Ryde site.

The Ryde therapy team in 2024 will consist of 11 therapists. Whilst the overall caseload is mixed ages, the majority of our clients are peadiatric and infants. We host a weekly clinic for early intervention focussed on working with children as young as 2 weeks old who are at risk of having Cerebral Palsy.

In this role you will be supported not only by the Regional Manager (to whom the position reports) but by a network of therapy managers across CPA, and in particular the Allambie managers and team leaders. You will also have access to various modes of leadership training including online courses and face to face sessions facilitated by Regional Managers, internal business partners and external subject matter experts.

The position is site-based, but there may be some flexibility to work from home one day per week once settled in the role for a candidate with the right experience. There will also be days spent at head office in Allambie (Sydney) as required.

Clinical background is essential.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication skills including conveying expectations, providing feedback, and facilitating team discussions, communicating risks and barriers to the Regional Manager, and effective engagement with stakeholders and clients to understand their needs and concerns
  • Leading through guidance, motivation and support
  • Ability to translate strategic priorities of the organisation into meaningful actions for your team
  • Problem-Solving: troubleshooting challenges, performing logistical gymnastics and making informed decisions in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Data-driven decision-making
  • Proficient user of IT
  • Commitment to supporting team members to navigate daily challenges as well as their longer-term professional development.
  • An understanding of the complex needs of our clients

What's in it for me?

  • Exceptional professional development opportunities through CPA's leadership academy as well as access to a suite of online courses run by MCI, a leading registered training organisation
  • A relocation allowance for interstate or rural moves of $5000 to help you if you are moving for the role
  • Up to $2,650/year tax-savings through meal, entertainment and venue hire benefit
  • Wellbeing allowance of $100 per year (have massage on us or buy new sneakers)
  • Discounted gym/fitness centre membership for your whole family
  • Multiple career pathways including Research, Clinical Governance, Specialisation and Management opportunities
  • Additional leave days, including bonus leave, pre-purchased leave, compassionate leave and CPA Day - an additional public holiday (occurs in the period between Boxing Day and New Year's Day)
