How will I help?
As part of the Group Transformation Office, the Portfolio Management & Investment Planning team's purpose is to facilitate the Group's annual investment planning process and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process to ensure the Group's change portfolio is effectively prioritised, sequenced and resourced and informed trade-off decisions are made. The team also provides portfolio reporting, analytics and insights to the Board and ET on the Group's transformation delivery performance.
The Portfolio Management & Investment Planning team aims to be transformation thought leaders, create radical transparency and engage for effective relationships.
As a key member of the team, the Manager, Transformation will:
- Lead data analysis, modelling, draw insights and make recommendations as critical inputs to strategic decision making on the Group's change agenda.
- Contribute to doability analysis of the transformation plan and scenario modelling to make recommendations for better alignment with the Group's strategic priorities, agreed investment shape and affordability and sequencing of the portfolio.
- Establish strong relationships with business stakeholders across the Group to influence change.
- Support senior team members in facilitating the quarterly and annual Group planning cycle (Quarterly Business Review, Half Year Strategy Review and Board Strategy Review).
- Hold the pen on Transformation Board and Executive reporting packs, using your exceptional organisation, presentation, reporting, Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills to generate professional and persuasive outputs.
- Support initiatives to uplift planning and insights capability across the Group to enable better Transformation outcomes.

What do I need?
To be successful in this role you will have had at least five years' experience in a similar role or a role supporting complex change in a large organisation. You will have experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders to build strong relationships and influence outcomes and experience using portfolio management tooling to facilitate portfolio level analysis and insights, including scenario planning.
You will also have the following knowledge or skills:
- Good portfolio management and project management skills, including experience in Scaled Agile portfolio management.
- Strong business analysis, consulting and problem-solving skills, tailoring insights and solutions to meet unique stakeholder needs.
- Strong report writing skills, including exceptional written presentation, PowerPoint and Word skills.
- Strong Excel and modelling skills, with high attention to detail.
- Good relationship management skills, including the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across the Group.
- Good understanding of the financial services industry including products, services, channels and competitive landscape.
