Job description
The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the VCE Curriculum Unit. This includes managing the ongoing review and development of the curriculum and related matters for all Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) studies, including proposals for accreditation of all VCE studies, and oversight of state-wide implementation programs, authorisation of providers to deliver the VCE and the school-based assessment audits.
This role involves overseeing the high level quality assurance of all VCE curriculum and support publications, management of communications to internal and external stakeholders, and being the Executive Officer for the Senior Secondary Curriculum and Assessment Committee, which is a working committee of the VCAA Board.
The role also includes management of the provision of international delivery of VCE studies offshore.
