Shoalhaven City Council is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as the Manager of Waste Services.
As the Manager Waste Services, your primary responsibility is to provide strategic leadership, ensuring the continuous provision of solid Waste Services for Shoalhaven. This includes overseeing operations, managing kerbside collections, and developing waste minimisation strategies.
Your role extends to driving the future direction of waste management at Shoalhaven and play a key part in the organisation’s change program. Managing day-to-day operations, including staff, finances, and assets and making sure all processes align with relevant legislation, license requirements, approval conditions and Council Policies are key responsibilities.
A Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field, leadership skills and demonstrated experience in solid waste management is required along with proven success in translating business strategy into operational goals.
A generous Total Remuneration Package will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on the skills, abilities and experience they will bring to the role.
