Our client is a well-known and highly reputable national provider of high quality services to the mining, energy, industrial and agriculture sectors. Due to continued growth, we’re seeking qualified a Machinist to join their workshop team in Perth. In this role you produce high quality repairs and service work ensuring quality, efficiency, productivity, whilst maintaining workshop health, safety and environmental guidelines at all times.
The role:
- Dismantle hydraulic components, inspect, repair and re-assemble
- Machining of products inline with manuals and requirements
- Interpret hydraulic schematics
- Be a team player with a positive can-do attitude
- Strong focus and commitment to Safety with the ability to follow Policies and Procedures
- Trade qualified Fitter/Machinist
- Knowledge of hydraulic parts and products
- Ability to use Yunnan, Sunmster, Hafco milling machines
- Post Trade Certificate qualifications and training in pneumatics, hydraulics and welding (desirable)
- Computer literate in the use of Netsuite operating system (desirable)
- Current ‘C' Class driver's license
- The ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
- The ability to record and document daily processes accurately
- Ability to pass medical including drug and alcohol testing
