We are an industry leader in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of robust, high-performance bulk material handling solutions. In addition to our custom-designed product, we also design and manufacture a full line of hoisting equipment for truck dump body applications under the NORDIC trade name.
The Opportunity
As a Manual Machinistin our facility, you are motivated and energetic and work well in a team environment. You have strong versatility and the ability to creating quality parts on lathes and milling machines according to company plans and blueprints.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders to fabricate metal parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform machining tasks
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Assemble components using mechanical knowledge and techniques
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
Skills and Requirements
- Proficiency in manual machining techniques including turning, milling, and grinding
- Experience with CNC programming and operation is a plus
- Knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD software for blueprint reading and interpretation
- Ability to weld and perform basic fabrication tasks
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
