We are looking for a person with a hands on approach and can do attitude, who is willing to learn new skills. Training will be provided for this role with opportunities to progress to a service technician.
The job involves working primarily in our workshop with some work in the field assisting our service division and installation team on client sites. Tasks are varied and challenging ranging from control board assembly, assembly of Automatic Door systems and assisting with installation of a range of Brands of Door, Gate and Window Automation.
Requirements:
- Drive a manual vehicle.
- Ability to work overtime if required.
- Good mechanical skills.
- Strong work ethic and capable of working with little supervision.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency in wiring, soldering.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Self-motivated.
- Well presented with excellent people skills.
- Ability to complete paperwork and record data as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Disassemble control system components, modify and reassemble according to specifications and quality standards.
- Perform wiring, soldering with precision and accuracy.
- Conduct testing and inspection of assembled products to ensure functionality and adherence to quality guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Dispatching and receiving stock.
- General housekeeping of the warehouse.
