Due to continued demand for new products, exciting projects and ERP system developments and manufacturing automations, ARCO is looking for a new Manufacturing Engineer to join our team based in Stapylton.
The Role
The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Engineering team that strives to fulfil the requirements of the business and the clients. The key responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:
- Drafting of the full product range for various stages: Inventory, Client’s Approval, Construction, and Installation.
- Technical support to sales, procurement, manufacturing, asset management and our ERP system.
- Creation and maintenance of Bills of Material, Standard Operating Procedures, and Design Manuals.
- Bespoke product design in aspects of steel, aluminium, automation, wind load and project engineering.
- R&D of new products and automated manufacturing processes.
Who You Are
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from a university accredited by Engineers Australia; academic transcript required.
- Excellent computer skills; proficiency in the MS Office suite of applications; experience with Excel VBA preferred.
- Experience with manufacturing automation desirable.
- Experience with CAD; SolidWorks experience preferred.
- Experience with Australian Standards.
- A passion for working in the manufacturing/ construction industry.
- Self-motivated to bring continuous innovation into the team.
