We are currently recruiting for an exceptional Manufacturing Manager. This role will lead the value stream for our Abrasiguard product range. Its focus will be to radically improve the performance and capacity of the value stream through growing our people, driving a Lean transformation, and bringing all manufacturing processes in-house. This role is based at our Brisbane plant and will report to the Operations Director.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious manufacturing leader looking to make their mark. You will be passionate about manufacturing, with a strong focus on the shop floor, and drive to achieve results. You will be intense, competitive, driven to get things done, and thrive under pressure. You will be analytical, good with numbers, structured, and like setting and achieving goals. You will be a hard worker who leads by example, inspires your team, and likes working at a fast pace. You will be a decision-maker who fixes problems, believes in progress over perfection, and is driven to succeed

You will ideally have the following experience:

• Engineering degree in relevant discipline.
• Strong career progression in manufacturing (‘clear A-player’).
• Strong Lean experience (driving the change, not just relying on consultants).
