The Opportunity:
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Project Manager and be a driving force in shaping innovative solutions for our quarry and mining clients. We are seeking a highly skilled professional who can lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective outcomes.
Tasks and responsibilities may include:
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, overseeing estimating, planning, scheduling, and budget management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and addressing project requirements.
- Develop detailed technical in-house drawings, specifications, and calculations, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental considerations.
- Identify and address technical challenges, providing solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Provide effective inputs to the designers and drafting team.
The successful applicant will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or significant related experience in manufacturing or extractive industries.
- Proven experience in project management and design engineering, with a focus on quarry and mining equipment/systems.
- Strong understanding of quarry and mining operations, equipment, and processes.
- Excellent knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software and engineering design tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate staff.
- Problem-solving abilities and a demonstrated commitment to innovation.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Fabrication workshop knowledge is advantageous.
