Your Role
You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager and Senior Leadership Team whilst supporting production operations and KPIs. On a daily basis your role will require you to:
- Manage and develop Preventative Maintenance Schedules that will ultimately provide the framework for breakdown repairs and troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise
- Manage the Company Maintenance Program and Associated Records
- Assist in machinery installation and repairs, and ensuring Work Flow is consistent with directives from Executive
- Undertake the necessary training as required to extend knowledge and skills
- Implement plant and machinery and support plant evolution and supply performance
- Perform breakdown, routine, and preventive maintenance tasks on all site production and infrastructure and complete associated paperwork
- Participate in shop floor team meetings to drive improvement programs
- Ensure work undertaken complies with HACCP, Food Safety and Quality guidelines
- General Construction and Fabrication
- Read, sketch and work to plans
- Maintain the efficiency of plant and machinery, leak detection and control
- Ensure that all Maintenance Personnel adhere to continuous improvement and 5S principals
- Ensure that yard and workshop areas should are hygienic, safe, accessible, and in good working order
- Ensure that you, and your peers adhere to Work Health and Safety practices
The position is Full-time and permanent and offers a flexible working environment such as Time Off In Lieu and other flexible arrangements for the right person. Minimal to no travel is required. The company engages in high-performance systems to mentor and train people to their capacity.
About You
- You are an experienced Maintenance Manager, ideally from the Food or Dairy Production sectors
- You have relevant Trade Qualifications and may have a B Class Electrical License or Welding Certificate
- You are experienced with liquid environments exposing you to valves, pneumatics, pumps and seals
- You are a hands-on character, a great team player and inspire those around you
- You have good computer skills
- You have experience in technical drawings and engaging external contractors
- You are well presented, well mannered and a positive influence
