Manufacturing Technician

Programmed on behalf of our client, Extractas Bioscience, are recruiting for a Manufacturing Technician for a casual position based in Westbury. In this role, you'll collaborate with a group of three on a rotating day and afternoon schedule during weekdays. In this role, you'll play a vital part in the entire supply chain process within their manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute botanical extract manufacturing operations according to production schedules.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements (Safety, Environmental, Quality/cGMP, Security, ODC, and TGA) within manufacturing areas.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing operations and report any deviations promptly.
• Maintain precise batch records related to manufacturing operations for evaluation and approval by an authorised individual.

Tasks in botanical extract product manufacturing include:

• Material receiving and milling
• Extraction, distillation, and decarboxylation, including solvent recovery
• Formulation and bottling
• Packaging and material storage
• Waste stream treatment

Applicants must be over 18 years old to meet the site's licensing agreement requirements and must be willing to undergo a National Police Check. Candidates with previous experience in a similar environment or a background in laboratory/science will be given strong consideration for this exciting opportunity. Flexibility to work across both day and afternoon shifts is essential, and a comprehensive pre-employment medical examination will be mandatory for this position.
