Manufacturing Technician

Programmed on behalf of our client, Extractas Bioscience, are recruiting for a Manufacturing Technician for a casual position based in Westbury. In this role, you'll collaborate with a group of three on a rotating day and afternoon schedule during weekdays. In this role, you'll play a vital part in the entire supply chain process within their manufacturing facility.Key Responsibilities: Execute botanical extract manufacturing operations according to production schedules.Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements (Safety, Environmental, Quality/cGMP, Security, ODC, and TGA) within manufacturing areas.Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing operations and report any deviations promptly.Maintain precise batch records related to manufacturing operations for evaluation and approval by an authorised individual. Tasks in botanical extract product manufacturing include:Material receiving and millingExtraction, distillation, and decarboxylation, including solvent recoveryFormulation and bottlingPackaging and material storageWaste stream treatmentApplicants must be over 18 years old to meet the site's licensing agreement requirements and must be willing to undergo a National Police Check. Candidates with previous experience in a similar environment or a background in laboratory/science will be given strong consideration for this exciting opportunity.
