Support the Aquaculture Branch in the management, sustainable development, regulation, and control of the aquaculture industry in Tasmania in accordance with the Marine Farming Planning Act 1995 and the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995. In this context, the role will work closely with both the Senior Spatial Systems and Data Officer and Manager of Operations to lead and coordinate priority projects, programs and strategies to support industry growth.

Hours per fortnight73.50 (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).

Desirable Requirements- Hold (or ability to obtain) a (near coastal) coxswain certificate.
- Workplace Level 2 First Aid Certificate or equivalent.
- A bachelor’s degree in science or an equivalent qualification, relevant to the duties to be undertaken, as provided by a university.
- A current motor vehicle drivers’ licence
