Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Marine Construction Worker to join the Tas Marine Construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for participating in various Marine Construction projects, demonstrating a positive attitude, and adhering to industry safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the construction, maintenance, and repair of marine structures, such as docks, piers, and seawalls.
- Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Follow project plans, specifications, and safety protocols for Marine Construction projects.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and with precision.
- Uphold a positive and proactive attitude towards work, fostering a supportive and safety-conscious work environment.
Requirements:
- Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)
- C6 crane licence preferred but not essential
- Experience in marine/Civil construction or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions and environments.
- Physical fitness and capability to perform labor-intensive tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
- Ability to travel for work in Tasmania & interstate until the completion of the project.
