About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Marine Mechanics with a passion for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of marine vessels. As a Marine Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various marine engines, propulsion systems, and other mechanical components. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our vessels are in top condition for safe and efficient operation
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine engines, transmissions Petrol, and Diesel
* Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend appropriate solutions
* Conduct thorough inspections of vessels to identify any potential problems
* Install, repair, and maintain marine electrical, mechanical systems, plumbing, and hydraulic systems
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
* Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Marine Mechanic or similar role
* Strong knowledge of marine engines, transmissions, and propulsion systems
* Experience with marine electrical systems, plumbing, and hydraulic systems
* Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues efficiently
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Relevant certifications or licenses required
