THE ROLE
Based in Carnarvon at our Lake Macleod operational site, the primary role of the Marine Planner is to coordinate various aspects of the marine functionality. You will work closely with our internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient marine operations.
The responsibilities of this role will include:
- Conducting administrative support for the Superintendent and team as required.
- Roster arrangements (maintenance of Leave and Training Schedule)
- Vessel vetting information flow.
- Manage and coordinate bus transfers.
- Liaise with the Training Advisor on crew availability.
- Process purchase orders and use company systems as and when required in accordance with procedures.
- Assist with maintenance planning and of parts management for LM vessel fleet liaising with contracting partner.
- Monitor and assist in the co-ordination of licensing requirements of Moorings and Jetty
- Generate port documents in accordance with vessel loading and file all records.
- Coordinate and plan functions or meetings as and when required.
- Attend site planning meetings with Production and Maintenance planners.

ABOUT YOU
To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience.
- Minimum 5 years? experience in a similar role
- Exposure to port operations or the marine industry
- Knowledge and experience with Pronto system (desired).
- Experience in risk assessment and risk management principles (advantageous).
- Previous salt and gypsum processing experience (advantageous).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong computer literacy & database management skills.
- Self-reliant and capable of working independently.
