The Role:
The Market Access Managerat Roche Diagnostics Australia (RDA) aims to enable the timely provision of IVD solutions to patients and ensuring they are funded with the best possible label. As a Market Access Manager, you will deliver value to Roche, our customers and our patients through meeting both short and long term strategic objectives including:
Conducting Market Access feasibility assessments to support prioritisation of Market Access initiatives for IVD solutions
Co-creating a strategic Market Access plan for registered and pipeline IVD solutions
Delivering against Market Access strategic priorities for IVD solutions
Roles & Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be:
Effectively developing and implementing Market Access strategies and related projects in alignment with business goals
Preparing and overseeing the preparation of quality reimbursement submissions to the Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC)
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and progress funding activities for IVD solutions on, or beyond, the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS)
Proactively monitoring the Market Access trends and environment such as payer needs, policy changes and the competitive landscape and adapting access strategies accordingly
Effectively contributing to brand and above-brand Market Access and public policy priorities to improve access to IVD solutions
Proactively building technical and professional expertise and seeking opportunities for self-development
Who you are:
You have:
Undergraduate degree in economics, public health, mathematics, statistics, life sciences or related fields
Experience working in a Market Access role in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry and / or health consultancy or related field for at least 3 years
Experience in building economic and financial models in the Australian market context in support of Market Access initiatives
Experience developing submissions for the MSAC or Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC)
Extensive knowledge of MSAC and PBAC Guidelines
Knowledge and experience working with modelling software
With yourstrategic agility, you can undertake complex health technology assessments and financial modelling and remain abreast of developments in the field and payer needs. With your excellent communication skillyou can communicate confidently and clearly adapting to different audience needs and proactively share valuable information across the team and broader organisation.
This on-site (Sydney preferred) based role is only open to candidates that have full eligibility to live and work in Australia. You may be required to travel.
