Market Operations Officer

Our client is seeking a Market Operations Officer to join their team for 6-months located in Keswick, South Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with Standing Data within the National Electricity Market (NEM), providing exceptional customer service, and resolving all Meter Data exceptions in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and ensure compliance with Standing Data within the NEM.
• Process and resolve any Standing Data and Meter Data exceptions.
• Accurately close B2B and Connections Service Orders within regulated timeframes.
• Process meter and settlement data and ensure information is dispatched to relevant participants within regulated timeframes.
• Maintain the accuracy of details for Life Support customers as required under the SA Distribution Code.
• Manage and resolve Retailer enquiries/complaints promptly and accurately in line with Manager or Lead direction.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in the utility industry is non-negotiable.
• Attention to detail and a proven history of problem-solving skills.
• Basic Excel skills.
• SAP ISU or CRM Systems experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• MASATS experience would be advantageous.
• Exposure to interpreting rules and regulations is desirable.
• High-level communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
