Money matters. Ecstra exists to help build the financial wellbeing of all Australians. We work to ensure that more Australians have access to financial education, guidance and help at the times they need it.
Our flagship program, Talk Money with Ecstra Foundation is the largest face to face financial literacy program offered to schools across Australia, teaching students money lessons for life.
We provide grants, financial education and wellbeing programs in schools and communities. We work with a range of consumer organisations, addressing the barriers to economic security many people face.
THE ROLE
Ecstra's Marketing and Communications Officer is an exciting new role, focused on executing our national strategies for financial wellbeing.
You will champion the importance of financial education at all life stages. You will assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns including creating digital content, media, email and online advertising, socials, events and sponsorship.
This includes crafting and sharing the stories of our grantees' impact, promoting Ecstra's partnerships, as well as engaging with our growing Talk Money community through campaigns, newsletters and events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create high-quality, engaging content for a range of audiences and channels, sharing stories of impact and positive change
- Manage an editorial and content calendar for Ecstra and Talk Money
- Support our Head of Marketing and Communications with Ecstra and Talk Money’s owned channels, including social media, website and electronic direct marketing
- Work with our Financial Education Manager to develop financial literacy content for website, factsheets, blogs, podcasts and webinars
- Ensure all digital content is optimised for search engines, accessibility and branding standards
- Create content, maintain and update Ecstra and Talk Money websites
- Provide benchmark reporting and analytics for initiatives and events, including media (supported by an external agency), Google Analytics, Socials, HubSpot CMS and CRM reporting
- Manage the Hubspot CRM platform
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in digital communication channels, including social media, email Marketing and website management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including writing for digital media
- Strong project management skills, working on multiple tasks with deadlines
- Experience working with subject matter experts to translate knowledge for a range of audiences and channels
- Attention to detail with the skills to ensure all digital content meets branding and accessibility standards
- Working knowledge of graphic design and content creation software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva an advantage
- Self starter who enjoys working as part of a team in the office and remotely
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in communications, marketing, journalism, finance or a related field
- Demonstrated > 3 years' experience in corporate, NFP, government or other organisational environments

- A competitive salary - $85,000+ based on experience (+ super + 5 weeks annual leave)

- Options to work full time or flexibly (eg 4 days) and remotely, with a Sydney co-working office space
