Our company is experiencing solid growth and to support this we have an exciting new role for a Marketing Assistant and Administration Officer. We are looking for a person that is passionate about their work and enjoys a fast paced and enjoyable environment.
Some inhouse training will be provided for the right person but to apply you must have the following criteria:
- Previous Marketing experience.
- Be highly organised with an eye for detail.
- High level knowledge in social media advertising.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure and with other staff.
- Be a professional and enthusiastic individual.
- Be a problem solver and be ready for the curve ball.
- Have impeccable personal presentation.
- Have an excellent level of communication.
- Be able to liaise and handle buyers & sellers on all levels.
- Have a level of previous exposure and experience with the job role/s
Responsibilities:
Marketing & Advertising:
Your role will be responsible for the following:
- Have or be able to learn and grow a solid understanding of auctions.
- Create & upload ads and reels to our social media pages for auction events daily/weekly and monthly.
- Maintain and grow our social media presence whilst safeguarding and enhancing our brand image.
- Draft, test, and send EDM’s for each auction event.
- Draft advertisements for paper ads and prrof with a high level of detail.
- Be creative, inventive, positive and inspiring.
- Ability to work well in a high functioning team.
- Excellent written and verbal skills with knowledge in Microsoft office programs.
- Be able to plan & execute media strategies for each post & pre auction.
Administration & Data:
As part of the role, you will be required to support & help other staff with:
- Learn our specific auction program and be part of the auction admin team which includes, data, photos, invoicing, chasing payments, applying payments and liaising with customers.
- Answering our 1300 phone number and being able to not only pass on messages but follow ups.
- Using various programs to organise, crop, enhance and touch up 1000’s of assorted photos for each auction event.
A remuneration package for the right person can be negotiated, this job is full time position 5 days per week from 9am - 5pm, with some flexible hours and time in lieu available.
