Your Role:
The Marketing and Events Officer role involves coordinating school events like Awards Night and Graduation Ceremonies while also developing marketing strategies to enhance the school's brand presence. This position requires strong organisational and communication skills to maintain relationships with stakeholders, as well as the ability to create innovative marketing initiatives.
Candidates should have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and previous experience in marketing or event coordination is advantageous
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate school special events including Awards Night, Anzac Day, Junior and Senior Student Inductions, Graduation Ceremonies, Welcome Ceremony and school information sessions.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with staff and external clients to ensure the success of school marketing efforts and Events, promoting the school as a key priority.
- Assist in the development of promotional material, professional photos, marketing strategies, initiatives, innovative marketing systems, processes, and procedures.
- Develop and coordinate partnerships with key external stakeholders including Alumni members, local media and local Industry Partners to enhance the school's current position in the broader community
- Liaise with outside organisations and school staff to coordinate Parent/Teacher Interviews, School Photos, and School Vaccinations.
- Assist the Events team in setting up all school events, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to established protocols.
- Assist the Events team with administration tasks.
About You:
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to execute highly professional events.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when necessary.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritise work tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software is preferred.
- Previous experience in marketing, event coordination, or a related field is advantageous.
