We are AgriBusiness Connect- a national organisation that connects the entire Agribusiness supply chain to drive the commercialisation of science, technology and research for the agricultural industry. Put simply, we help businesses like primary producers, suppliers and manufacturers across Agribusiness to coordinate and collaborate and ultimately find solutions to issues they may face.

What is it that we need? We are seeking an experienced and passionate Marketing and Social Media Specialist to join our passionate team. This fulltime positions offers diversity in duties and location, including opportunity to work remotely.
To be successful in this role you will have: Proven experience in a similar role with a minimum 2-3 years’ experience
Tertiary qualifications in marketing or a related discipline
Strong attention to detail and excellent writing skills and the ability to create clear and engaging communications tailored for a wide variety of audiences across multiple diverse business entities
Demonstrated knowledge of Social Media channels (in particular LinkedIn and Facebook)Ability to work on different projects simultaneously with competing priorities
Proficiency with using CRMs (Microsoft Dynamics preferred but not required)Experience managing websites using WordPress or similar
Demonstrated experience working with local government bodies is advantageous
Basic experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud (in particular InDesign) preferable; and
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office This role covers a variety of activities and projects including: Marketing Strategy – Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness
Website Management- including preparing and uploading regular content and working with developers on maintenance works
Content Writing- including researching and preparing news articles, internal communications, business content and project profiles. Social Media Coordination- Manage and optimize Social Media platforms, including content creation and post boosting (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn & YouTube). Marketing Collateral – graphic design and content creation for presentations, capability statements and general marketing documents.
Graphic Design– including general graphic design requests; design and procurement of signage and advertising bookings, design and placement. Branding Photoshoots– management and attendance of corporate and site branding photoshoots. Brand Management– general management and development of new and existing brands, including working with graphic design agencies where necessary.
Sponsorship and Event Management– optimisation and coordination of sponsorships, client relations events, staff functions and project events.
