We’re expanding our team and are seeking someone to take on the role of Social Media and Online Specialist. If you’re a Social Media extraordinaire, who loves smashing goals, hitting targets, who thrives on metrics, algorithms and on graphic design, is a stickler for the finer details and loves to put your filming and editing talents to good use – we want to meet you!

What you’ll be doing:
- Waking up on the Sunshine Coast every morning – and going for a surf at Mooloolaba Beach – just because you can.
- Working with the GSL Media Group Digital Team on our own brands and those of our valued clients.
- Reporting to the Group Digital and Marketing Director.
- And that’s just the beginning!
- Creating, scheduling and managing all Paid Social Advertising for clients and our own businesses.
- Planning, filming and editing client promotional videos for Social Media.
- Reporting and analysing Social Media and online success and utilising data to adapt, modify, enhance current and future work and present reports to the Group Digital & Marketing Director.
- Proactively prospecting and searching for new clients and business digital sales opportunities with the Account Managers.
- Developing new Digital/Online Advertising Solutions to assist in building retention strategies; marketing strategies through customer needs analysis.
- Working as part of a kick-ass, super fun, passionate team in an ego free zone.
What you’ll need:
- Communications/Marketing degree or equivalent experience.
- To be confident and have a solutions-based approach to your every day.
- To be creative. You have flare, pizazz, an eye for awesome.
- To be an expert designer with knowledge of Canva and Envato, along with camera work, filming and editing experience. Experience with Adobe Premier Pro highly regarded.
- To have a passion for organisation and mild obsessions with designing the perfect ad or filming the perfect client video.
- To be willing to ‘marry’ this market and make it home – or if you already live here, devote yourself to your new team. Trust us, that won’t be hard. It’s pretty fun here.
