Job description

Mini Masterminds is a vibrant and growing group of Childcare centres across Sydney. We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our collaborative team at the Head Office. You will be working closely with the Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing to manage events and create engaging promotional materials that captures the hearts of prospective parents and educators.


This role would suit a graduate who is eager to learn and bring their passion and energy to a fast paced marketing team.

Responsibilities:


Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and implementation of promotional events and Open Days to create engaging educational environments that showcases the Mini Masterminds brand and drives enrolments. Specific tasks include:


o The selection and booking of the entertainment and activities
o Ticket management and data collection
o Poster, signage and promotional material creation
o Set up of the centre prior to Open Day

Monthly Newsletter: Assist in the design and layout of each centre’s newsletter using Canva or equivalent design software to:


o Coordinate and collect the monthly centre updates
o Select visually engaging and personalised photos that tells each centre’s individual story
o Incorporate graphics and branding elements to enhance readability and interest

Collateral Development: Design and produce a variety of collateral ensuring brand consistency and the use of compelling visuals to support each centre and encourage enrolments including:


o Creation of monthly activity posters and any adhoc requests
o Prospective parent documentation; handbooks, room transition information
o Internal staff inductions and presentations

Promotional Materials: Source, order and design (in conjunction with the graphic designer) promotional materials for events, Career’s Days and internal celebrations that reinforces the Mini Masterminds brand positioning and values. Monitor inventory levels.

• Google Business Listings: Monitor each centre’s google business listings for reviews alerting the relevant stakeholders. Update listings with new images.
• EDMs: Creation and distribution of EDMs across our database.
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including taking and distributing the approved minutes / action items from marketing and new centre meetings.

Requirements:


• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Visual Communication, Graphic Design or Marketing.
• Have an eye for creativity and experience with Canva or in design.
• Strong project management with excellent follow through and attention to detail.
• A confident communicator with clear and concise verbal and written skills.
