About the role:
We are in search of an enthusiastic and organised Marketing Assistant to join our team in DMG Fine Wine’s Spirits of China Baijiu brand. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a keen interest in marketing, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. As a Marketing Assistant, they will play a pivotal role in supporting our marketing endeavours, promoting our products, and elevating our brand presence.
Responsibilities:
On-Premises Marketing Activities Execution and Follow-Up: Coordinate and execute on-premises marketing activities related to baijiu, including tastings and educational sessions, and diligently follow up on their impact.
- External Communication: Engage in external communication with agencies and clients in the baijiu industry, cultivating positive relationships and ensuring effective collaboration.
- Campaign Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of baijiu-centric marketing campaigns, sales promotions, and end-consumer oriented in-store activations.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance by organising meetings, managing schedules, and maintaining marketing databases relevant to the baijiu business.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing reports and presenting findings to optimise future campaigns and strategies.
- Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of baijiu-related events, tastings, and promotional activities, ensuring a delightful experience for participants.
- Marketing Report Writing: Generate comprehensive reports specifically focused on event reports, providing insights into event performance.
What you'll have:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (both in Chinese and English), with a passion for the baijiu industry.
- Proficient in using marketing tools and software.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Creativity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client visits.
