The Yard Brisbane (TYB) is a full service, ship repair and maintenance facility, where trade and activities undertaken onsite daily include activities such as; ship building/refit, painting, metal fabrication, carpentry, abrasive blasting, composite works, engineering and heavy lifting.
The Marketing Manager will report to the General Manger and will manage and execute new campaigns using digital (social and web), print, event and other marketing initiatives to generate leads and new business opportunities for our sales team.
Key duties of the position include but are not limited to:
- Development, rollout and management of new marketing strategies and campaigns including the management of website marketing, social media, print media, events, marketing materials and strategic partnerships.
- Interacting with customers and tenants and dealing with customer inquiries online and via social media
- Management, accountability and trackability for all marketing budgets including spend on promoting social media posts and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns
- Responsible for Brand Activation and Collaboration with colleagues from across all departments to ensure branding is consistent and effective.
- Meeting with clients, tenants, team colleagues and other organizational stakeholders, pitching potential marketing campaigns, strategies and ideas.
- Launch optimised online adverts through Google Ad-words, Facebook etc. to increase company and brand awareness.
- Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimisation etc.)
- Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organise their distribution through various channels
A successful applicant must demonstrate the following:
- 3+ years of previous experience as a marketing manager or a related role preferred
- Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate in a fast-paced
- Must possess both outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Office management experience.
- Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, etc.
- CRM knowledge (ideally ZOHO)
