About us
Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN) is the professional body for 25,000 mental health nurses across Australia. It is governed by a Board of Directors and has its national office in Canberra. As one of the Peak Nursing bodies in Australia, ACMHN works with Federal and State/Territory governments and departments to help empower Mental Health Nurses (MHNs) in their careers. ACMHN is a key member of nursing groups and represents the interests of MHN through the International College of Nursing (ICN). The College conducts significant events and recently held a sold out Conference in Melbourne themed "Unleash the Potential". ACMHN’s Credential for Practice Program (CPP) is operated under the Credentialing for Nurses (C4N) collaborative which has implemented a nationally standardised professional credentialing mechanism, by which registered nurses can be recognised as specialist nurses within their area of practice.
Qualifications & experience
- Required: Marketing communications specialists to have a bachelor's degree in such fields as marketing, public relations or mass communication. Study would have focused on mass media writing, media law and ethics, editing and publishing, digital media, marketing and public speaking.
- Desired: Membership or engagement with one of the following or similar is looked on favourably. Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) Certified Advertising Specialist (CAS) Certified Integrated Marketing Communication Specialist (CIMCA)
- Desired: Verbal communication and public speaking; you will be required to collect, analyse and present data related to the success of marketing campaigns and public relations content. It's important to possess strong verbal communication and public speaking skills.
- Required: Social media marketing, in addition to traditional public relations materials, you will on occasion be involved in the creation of social media content, requiring you to have strong social media marketing skills.
- Required: Attention to detail when writing a white paper, analysing data or creating a presentation, attention to detail will be key to your skill set.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Designing and creating digital marketing content, including newsletters, brochures and promotional emails
- Collaborating with external design and public relations teams to create white papers, infographics and marketing videos. Co-ordinating with internal staff and the CEO on muti-skill projects.
- Tracking, recording, assessing, and reporting the performance of marketing campaigns and presenting this information to members of a company's management team
- Identifying the effectiveness of marketing material by tracking metrics including conversion rates, customer loyalty and customer satisfaction
- Reviewing consumer data to analyse effective marketing strategies and successful ways to increase brand awareness
- Updating and maintaining the web site for ACMHN
- Networking with potential customers and industry professionals to grow brand awareness and promote the company's products
