You’ve worked in marketing previously. You have experience with, and enjoy, copywriting. You can confidently put pen to paper, even with a minimal brief.
You enjoy taking ownership of copy-related projects and working independently, but you also know when to put your hand up and ask for support to ensure tasks are completed successfully.
Your day-to-day…You’ll face a mix of daily tasks that will involve writing, editing, designing, and organising. Initially, you’ll be working on social media and a range of internal and external communication projects.
Additionally, you will take ownership of Nightlife’s community moderation and monitoring, regularly scanning for product and client feedback.

Tell us if you have experience in…
- Crafting Engaging Content: You understand how to write for different audiences and across different platforms and channels
- Producing Internal/External Communications: You’ve been involved in creating content like company messages, onboarding materials, procedure documents, blog posts and social media posts
- Graphic Design and Video Creation: You have basic skills in Canva and/or Premiere Pro
- SEO: You are familiar with the basics of keyword optimisation + SEO plugins
- Content Management Systems: You have navigated the backend of a CMS like WordPress
- EDMs: You’ve created email campaigns and newsletters with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp
This role could be a good fit if you are…
- Currently studying (or have recently completed) a Communications, Journalism or Business Marketing degree
- Interested in music and the music industry: Our business is based around this, so interest will make it more enjoyable to write and learn about
- Willing to become familiar with our technology and products: Your work will involve understanding our products, their use cases and functionality
