The Part Time Marketing and Digital Media Coordinator looks after our Northern Rivers venues and is critical in the coordination of all marketing activities. You will be presenting, planning and actioning any innovation initiatives to help the organisation achieve overall strategic objectives. You will ensure our members are engaged when visiting our venues through strong promotional campaigns and activations. This is a highly collaborative role with regular communications required with multiple departments such as Operations, F&B, Gaming and Events.
Your Key Priorities will be to:
Marketing Coordination. Manage the annual marketing calendar including regular and key-date activations and scheduling.
Promotions. Develop and activate member promotions across all areas of the business.
In-venue advertising. Use various on-site channels to ensure strong exposure for promotions and activations is achieved. Channels include, but are not limited to, digital TV advertising and POS screen advertising.
Digital advertising. Utilise existing digital and personalisation channels to deliver targeted campaigns to key segments.
Social Media. Develop paid and sponsored social media campaigns across existing and emerging social media channels, providing monthly analytics reports to Marketing Manager and Venue Manager.
Photography. Manage monthly on-site photo and video shoots to create a strong photo catalogue for use across multiple channels.
Stakeholder Briefing. Brief all external stakeholders for production of content such as graphic design, video and animation creation, TV content and visual merchandising and displays as well as external advertisers such as newspaper and local area publications.
Innovation. Continuously research and present innovative ways to improve the way we do business, engage with our customers and our communities.
Communication. Maintain effective communication with all key stakeholders including senior management and business group-wide marketing team members.
The Candidate:
A strong connection and commitment to the local community and understanding of these markets
2 + years’ marketing experience - ideally in hospitality or membership-based industry
Marketing/Communications qualifications
Demonstrate content writing with strong creative and copywriting skills
Email, website and social media marketing experience
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal skills
High level of presentation and professionalism
Some graphic design experience will be an advantage
