Bluhdorn Group is a sales and marketing organisation, specialising in business development and client acquisition. We partner with energetic and ambitious business owners to grow and expand their operation. We do this by providing hands-on strategic direction, lead generation and operational support from marketing through to IT and everything in between.
Within the Bluhdorn Group network, we co-own and manage 8x core brands (predominantly within the finance industry) and a range of sub-brands operating across Australia and New Zealand. We are experiencing significant growth across the board, and as such, are looking to expand our in-house team of marketing and sales experts.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented and enthusiastic Digital Media & Marketing Coordinator to join our tight-knit team.
Reporting to our Marketing Director, you will play a key role in the day-to-day implementation of marketing and communication initiatives across the Bluhdorn Group network. This is an ideal platform for an ambitious individual with a flair for creative writing to hone their skills in a fast-paced, multi-discipline marketing environment with minimal red tape.
Responsibilities
- Drive the management of our social media pages (up to 20 brands); including monthly content collection, creation and curation, preparing content calendars, managing community response and social media page maintenance across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
- Own an array of copywriting and copyediting tasks for online (e.g eDMs, web copy, blogs) and offline platforms (e.g. promotional materials, press releases, award submissions)
- Support the Marketing Director and / or Digital Marketing Manager in developing cohesive communication plans for key projects, digital initiatives and events
- Support our brokers and sales teams with clear, concise and purposeful communication templates and marketing collateral to drive lead conversion
- Brief and manage deadlines with our freelance creative team including a copywriter, graphic designer and web developer to drive projects forward
- Contribute to the rollout of new brands as we bring new partners into the network (brand, website, socials, sales resources, collateral, signage & more)
- Create and update branded templates and other marketing content
- Support our Marketing Director with ad hoc administrative tasks
Skills & Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing and / or Communications
- Strong communicator and talented copywriter, with a creative flair
- High attention to detail
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and resourceful
- Willing to learn and roll up your sleeves to support the team
- Experience in Canva, Loomly and Google Docs advantageous
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, and a fantastic opportunity for a recent marketing graduate. It offers rare exposure to a broad range of sales and marketing activities, for multiple brands and target audiences, in an “in-house” (as opposed to agency) environment.
Based in our Surfers Paradise office, you’ll be working with a small yet dynamic team driven to succeed; we work hard, and play hard too. Parking is available next door to the office, and will be reimbursed monthly.
