Digital Marketing, Media & Ecommerce Coordinator

As the Digital Media & E-commerce Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of shaping our brand's identity, engaging customers through innovative campaigns and content strategies that break the mold.
We're looking for someone with a deep understanding of the digital landscape, from social media management to website development. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience in a similar role which will be invaluable as you navigate the complexities of online marketing and e-commerce.
Reporting directly to the owner, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing her vision for My Jewellery Shop to life. Your focus will be on crafting compelling narratives for our exclusive line of diamonds, including both natural and lab-grown varieties, and sharing the captivating stories behind our MJS love stories.
In addition to your creative endeavors, you'll also be responsible for streamlining workflow processes and managing data related to our e-commerce channels. Your ability to work independently will be essential, but so too will your willingness to collaborate and contribute to the broader goals of our business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop, Manage, and Execute Digital Marketing Plans: Lead the strategic development and execution of all Digital Marketing initiatives, including social media strategies, content marketing activities, and e-commerce efforts across multiple platforms such as the website, social media channels, blog, and email marketing campaigns.
· Oversee Social Media Platforms: Take charge of all social media platforms, employing storytelling techniques to cultivate an engaging and authentic online community while building a strong social presence for My Jewellery Shop.
· Create Impactful Content: Generate compelling and visually appealing content that harmonises with all digital touchpoints of My Jewellery Shop, ensuring consistency and resonance with the brand's identity.
· Analyse and Report Insights: Utilise analytics tools to analyse and report on key insights, leveraging data-driven approaches to enhance digital activity and campaign performance continually.
· Manage Website and eBay Store: Maintain day-to-day oversight of our website and eBay store, ensuring smooth functionality, updating content as needed, and optimising user experience for increased engagement and sales.
· Product Photography and Content Preparation: Capture high-quality product photography and prepare engaging content for the website, enhancing product presentation and customer experience.
· Data and Stock Management: Assist in implementing best-practice data and stock management procedures to optimise inventory levels, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
· Drive Customer Enquiries: Utilise both organic and paid channels, including Facebook, Google, and Instagram, to drive customer inquiries and lead generation efforts effectively.
· Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance the e-commerce channel and boost online sales performance continually.
· Collaborate with External Stakeholders: Foster collaborative relationships with external stakeholders, including agencies, community/charity partners, and local businesses, to amplify brand reach and engagement.
· Customer-Facing Role: Assist in a customer-facing role when needed, providing valuable insights into the in-store experience and leveraging these interactions to inform and enhance Digital Marketing strategies.
Skills and Experience:
· Demonstrated Marketing Experience: Proven track record in a marketing role, showcasing your ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies.
· Qualifications in Marketing, Branding, or Communications: Formal education or certification in marketing, branding, or communications, providing you with a solid foundation in relevant principles and practices.
· Shopify Expertise: Hands-on experience with Shopify, demonstrating your proficiency in navigating and optimising online sales channels.
· Digital and Social Media Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of digital and social media trends, including proficiency in scheduling and analytical tools, to maintain forward-thinking, best practice brand communications and marketing strategies.
· Photography and Editing Skills: Proficiency in photography and editing, with experience using Photoshop or similar software to capture and enhance visual content effectively.
· Facebook and Google Mastery: Proven expertise in utilising Facebook and Google for business growth and positive brand positioning, leveraging these platforms to drive engagement and conversions.
· Grammar and Copywriting Excellence: Outstanding grammar and copywriting skills, enabling you to craft compelling and error-free content across various digital platforms.
· Data-driven and Detail-oriented: Ability to analyse data and insights to inform decision-making, coupled with strong attention to detail and the capability to manage tasks efficiently from inception to completion.
· Reliable and Self-motivated: Demonstrated reliability, organisation, and self-motivation, coupled with an exceptional can-do attitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
