Job Description
At Nine Food and Lifestyle Events we create unforgettable experiences that leave lasting memories. We have produced some of Australia's most loved, premium food festivals including the Night Noodle Markets, Good Food Month, The Good Food Guide Awards and are now curating and delivering events across the Nine publishing Lifestyle brands, Sunday Life, Good Weekend and others.
The Marketing Executive will be responsible for implementing an annual marketing plan, using best practice marketing activity to drive attendance to the events and engagement with our partners.
The role specifically will lead the implementation of the 12 month promotional campaign for Good Food Events.
Day to day, you will:
- Ensure the marketing campaign is optimised to drive ticket sales and event attendance, within budget
- Budget management and invoicing
- Deliver and build Good Food andFood and Lifestyle Events marketing campaigns
- Implement tactics to drive significant audience growth/engagement across social media and the eDM database
- Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Reviewing analytics, sales and performance and campaign data to find ways to optimise and innovate
- Develop marketing growth strategy in-line with the objectives of the business
- Build strong working relationships with all internal departments - operations, event manager(s), sponsorship, editorial and advertising
What we would like to see:
- Previous experience in a similar position
- A passion for food, lifestyle and creating amazing experiences
- Experience with E-commerce platforms (Humanitix preferred)
- Active campaign management experience
- Wordpress/ website coding experience
- Management of creative briefs
- Google Analytics experience
- Strong networking and communication skills
- Competent understanding of best practice SEO
- Experience with creating social strategies, content, scheduling & reporting, using Meta Business Manager and other relevant scheduling platforms
- Proven project management skills, from inception to completion
- Ability and willingness to travel (short term) interstate for work
