With an exciting range of Luxury and Sport vehicles, Jaguar Land Rover is a market-leading global brand experiencing tremendous growth in its Parramatta dealership. To support this growth, we are seeking a dedicated Marketing Executive.
About the Role:
In this dynamic role, you will be presented with the opportunity to own and manage the planning, implementation, and measurement of all marketing activity for the prestige automotive brands - Jaguar and Land Rover. Working with the Group Retail Marketing Manager and the Senior Dealership Management team, you will be integral in helping generate interest, product awareness, and engagement with the brand, to achieve predetermined business goals and targets. You will also generate/manage our internal communications materials from across the Sime Darby Motors Group, and assist with the creation and implementation of our people experience calendar, which includes events such as International Women's Day, RUOK Day, Movember, and employee surveys. You will also be required to work with the General Manager - Marketing and Communications, assisting with corporate communications where required.
This role will provide the opportunity to take on a variety of duties and responsibilities which include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the success of all retail, launch, corporate, events/sponsorship and promotional activity.
- Identifying and providing advice/guidance on the most appropriate, effective, and cost-effective marketing strategies and initiatives for maximising brand and product awareness.
- Deliver all marketing activities in line with the allocated budgets and time frames.
- Managing marketing adherence to brand CI guidelines and requirements.
- Co-ordinate and manage all social media activity for the brands in line with campaign, brand expectations and approvals processes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to effectively convey Sime Darby's message to internal stakeholders
- Create engaging content for press releases, internal newsletter, social media and website platforms
- Build relationship with PR agency to secure local press coverage for CSR related initiatives for our brands
- Support the People Experience department with internal events
- Monitor industry media coverage and send through relevant articles to key stakeholders
- Manage the Sime Darby Motors social media accounts including developing a content plan across the group
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Passion for the Automotive Industry
- Eagerness to take on the next step in their marketing career
- Willingness to learn, adapt and be apart of a collaborative team.
- A recognised tertiary qualification in marketing/business management or similar
- 3 - 5 Years' experience in a Marketing position from within a retail and event management environment (luxury brand experience preferred).
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic capability and strong negotiation skills.
Due to the nature of Dealership event activities, work outside normal office hours is occasionally required, including on weekends and evenings.
