Marketing Lead – 12-month contract
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Lead to drive the development, implementation and analysis of strategic marketing activities for our Banking products. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimising campaign performance, driving efficiencies within the team, and ensuring member-centric marketing strategies.
This role sits in the Brand and Product Marketing team who drive demand for RACQ’s financial services products. The Marketing Lead will specifically be looking after our lending and deposits products within the Banking portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify effective marketing strategies to drive brand and product awareness, consideration, and acquisition. Develop product CVPs, campaign positioning and the most effective media in collaboration with agency partners
- Ensure campaign strategies are insight-driven and member-centric.
- Use data and insights to find opportunities for growth – through audience, media channels, emerging trends
- Ongoing reporting and evaluation of campaign performance with a focus on future needs
- Provide accurate and timely information through planning, reporting, and campaign analysis to leadership team and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and identify strategic marketing opportunities.
- Manage campaign budgets through effective tracking, reporting, and forecasting processes.
About you
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in marketing strategy development and execution.
- Experience working in a financial services industry, or in a highly regulated environment
- Experience in managing marketing activity (inc. production) in a high-volume business across diverse channels, including TV, radio, OOH, online video, SEM and Meta.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and priority management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Email Marketing Platforms (Salesforce and/or Adobe).
- Desirable but not essential - Photoshop and InDesign.
- Creative, innovative, and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
- Desire to mentor junior team members (this role has no direct reports)
