The opportunity:
Our Development line of business are currently seeking a Marketing Manager to join the Retail team based in our Ed Square Town Centre at Edmondson Park 2174.
Reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting the Asset Management team and collaborating with the centre’s retailers to execute the marketing plan from end to end. The role will focus on creating community and place whilst driving strong commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities
As the successful applicant, this role will see your responsibilities include:
Developing, gaining approval, and executing the annual marketing plan/calendar, budgets and plans, and coordinating stakeholders
Managing the centre’s marketing budget, including spend reconciliations and re-forecasting
Leading and executing social and digital strategy (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc.) across owned, earned and bought channels to support the Regional Marketing Manager
Effectively executing brand management and in collaboration with agencies
Developing and delivering community placemaking and community engagement, in conjunction with the Residential and Community teams
Driving retailer engagement and participation in centre marketing initiatives
Identifying and supporting underperforming retailers
Working collaboratively with stakeholders including commercial partners and the leasing team
Delivering monthly financial reporting and tracking trends against objectives and KPI’s
Reporting on retailer occupancy costs, campaign debriefs, and market research
Requirements
You may have some or all of the following skills and experience:
A Degree in Marketing and/or Communications
Experience as a Marketing Manager, or as a Marketing Coordinator within events and property
Excellent copywriting skills, including editing, vocabulary and grammar, across various channels. Website content management using Sitecore is desirable
Knowledge of social and traditional media practices and tools
Adept at problem solving, and at presenting to stakeholders
The ability to set up and manage an event end-to-end
An interest in placemaking and community building
