About the role
The Marketing Manager, Digital & Brand is responsible for the development and execution of the marketing strategy to build brand awareness and create interest and registrations for Governance Institute’s products and services.
**The successful candidate will be engaged on a 6 month maximum term contract.
Key responsibilities
- Leading a high performing, data driven and solutions focused marketing & communications team
- Take ownership of the website, develop content, maximise SEO and increase website traffic
- Take ownership of the Brand Activation strategic project, to drive revenue growth, raise awareness of GIA, create profile
- Develop a marketing plan and go-to-market strategy for the Governance Academy
- Work closely with the Sales & Partnership team, to develop and execute sales & marketing strategy for all products and services
- Reporting on strategic initiatives, campaign and channel performance compared to leading practice, past performance and targets
- Create compelling content for promotional materials, marketing campaigns, including social media, newsletters, and website
- Engaging effectively with stakeholders; collaborating on the development of marketing & advertising plans, keeping them informed of progress and reporting on performance
- Manage the marketing budget and ensure resources are allocated effectively according to business needs
- Ensuring a high-quality and respected journal is produced through engaging interviews/articles
- Project managing all thought leadership / guidance that requires editing, design with a launch plan
- Providing expert advice regarding leading practices for marketing, content development and communications via a variety of channels
Skills and qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing & communications
- Proven experience in senior marketing roles
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills with a range of stakeholders (staff, board, members/customers & stakeholders)
- Understanding of target audience needs is essential
- Solid understanding of marketing, sales and content approaches
- CRM expertise
- Budget management
- A sound knowledge of digital and print publication and production processes.
