Marketing Officer

Ready to take the next LEAP in your career? Leaptel is seeking a skilled and experienced part-time Marketing Officer to join the growing Marketing team. 

The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years experience in a similar role, have a high-level of attention to detail, strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and be a true-blue team player!

The Marketing Officer role is based in Leaptel’s Melbourne office (located in Camberwell), working 25 hours per week, reporting to the Marketing Manager. 

Key responsibilities:

• Copywriting: Develop compelling and engaging content for various marketing channels, ensuring brand consistency and messaging alignment.
• Research and Report Writing: Conduct market research, analyse data, and generate insightful reports to inform marketing strategies and decisions.
• Organisation and Time Management: Efficiently manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines consistently.
• Community Management: Engage with our community through various channels, fostering positive relationships and addressing inquiries or concerns.
• Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills for internal and external communication.
• Other duties: Any other administrative duties relevant to the success of the business as required.

Relevant experience:

• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
• Analytics Tools: Proficient in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Meta analytics, and MailChimp to gather insights and optimise marketing strategies.
• CMS: Experience with content management systems, preferably WordPress.
• Digital Mailing Platform: Proficiency in using digital mailing platforms, preferably MailChimp.
• CRM Experience: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management systems.
• B2C Marketing: Previous experience in B2C marketing, especially within the telco or tech industry.

Highly regarded attributes:

• Willingness to travel interstate when required (at least twice per calendar year)
• Knowledge of ISPs
• InDesign knowledge and experience

Proposed work hours:

Monday to Friday – 9:00am – 2:00pm
