About the role

Our team is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented individual to showcase the amazing work done by our team, to make a difference in our clients’ lives. In this role you will see yourself providing a range of effective administration services to enable projects/services to be delivered in a timely and effective way.

As our Marketing Project Officer, you will be a key player by providing high-level administration and Marketing Project coordination support to enable the smooth and efficient operation of the team services while acting as a point of contact with internal and external stakeholders.

Duties

  • Provide administrative support to the Director including coordination of meetings, work streams, financial admin and processing, contract administration, diary and travel management.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as suppliers, community partners and community groups as required, in consultation with BMC team.
  • Assist other members of the team during busy periods and during periods of leave.
  • Project coordination, evaluate information, data and situations to identify level of urgency, risk confidentiality and sensitivity, ensuring the most appropriate action is identified, directed to the correct person to address and matters are escalated to the relevant service management in appropriate timeframes.
  • Administrative and donor support with our Fundraising functions and donors.

Skills and Experience

We want you to be successful in your new role! This means you’ll have the following:

  • Recent graduate or a certificate level qualification
  • 1-3 years of experience in an Administrative or project  role, covering multiple services or functions
  • Strong customer service focus with the desire to find solutions for the customer and make the customer experience as positive as possible.
  • Ability to identify what is commercially sensitive information and maintain appropriate levels of privacy and confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to use a range of software applications including Office, Outlook and databases/CRMs
  • Ability to coordinate projects, tasks, manage expectations with stakeholders and identify priorities in your daily work
  • Ability to work independently without regular supervision
