POSITION
Fulltime position for a Marketing Specialist is available in Cairns QLD 4870.
SKILL LEVEL
The role requires you to hold a relevant bachelor’s degree and at least two years of relevant work experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our organisation's goods and services. Your responsibilities will involve planning events, managing social media, executing email marketing campaigns, creating visually appealing graphics, identifying market opportunities, and collaborating with the marketing team. Additionally, you will take ownership of specific functions within the marketing department, assisting the National Marketing Manager in the development and distribution of promotional materials. The role offers a dynamic environment that encourages continuous learning, growth, and the opportunity to contribute to creating a cleaner future.
TASKS
Social Media

• Generating engaging content as outlined by the marketing strategy
• Planning, developing and scheduling advertising policies and campaigns
• Helping drive social media following and engagement using advertising strategies and campaigns
• Preparing periodic reports on the overall results and learnings and monitoring the performance of marketing initiatives

Email Marketing

• Assisting with the creation and distribution of subscriber email newsletters
• Copywriting/writing email marketing messages in-line with brand guidelines
• Collaborating with departments to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Reporting on the success of email campaigns

Event Planning

• Planning/coordinating manufacturers involved in each events
• Organising venues, staff and installers
• Creating content during the event from videos, photography
• Promotion through all digital marketing channels

CRM & Marketing Automation

• HubSpot CRM database growth and maintenance
• Marketing automation setup and monitoring
• Data entry and assist the Marketing Manager to run data analysis
• Reporting on campaign success and monitor key metrics

Graphic Design

• Canva or Adobe photoshop / Illustrator to create graphics and content
• Social media posts
• Slide presentations
• Website and email marketing graphics

Administrative

• Contributing to internal reports
• Keeping abreast of industry trends and compelling marketing campaigns
• Helping conduct and collate findings from market research
• Ad hoc duties including assisting staff with technical queries

Website

• Updating and maintaining website using Wordpress
• Ensuring articles and pages follow SEO best practice
• Maintaining “on brand” design across entire website
• Reporting on and monitoring website traffic

SALARY
Annual salary of $70,000 to $80,000 based on experience.
