What to expect
We are seeking an exceptional Master Technical Trainer to join our high performing Training Academy based in Mascot. Reporting to the Training Academy Manager, you will be instrumental in driving business success by building relationships with, enhancing the performance of and upskilling members of our Retail Network. You represent our Brands and the impression you make in the classroom will go on to impact our culture and ultimately our customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct motivating and high quality training in-line with the Jaguar Land Rover Trainer Accreditation methodology
- Ensure continuous high-quality training within the technical training team that is in accordance with the Jaguar Land Rover Training methodology
- Attend technical new model and diagnostic train-the-trainer events and facilitate deployment to the broader training team
- Facilitate and deliver new model launch programs where appropriate
Collaborate with the Training Academy Manager to maintain ongoing trainer development - Train and Assess internal and external personnel against Global Learner Journey criteria
- Identify and coordinate resource requirements relating to the training curriculum
- Deliver training as required, based on information from technical support functions as guided by the Technical Training Manager
What you'll need
- 5+ years in a similar role (Essential)
- Extensive knowledge of the Jaguar Land Rover product line and associated specifications
- In depth knowledge of the retailer (automotive) process (Essential)
- Understanding of drivers of retailer (automotive) business (Essential)
- Experience using Excellence learning management system (Desired)
- Familiarity with Training Metrics (Desired)
- Able to work under pressure with a positive ‘can do’ attitude. (Essential)
- Project management and coordination skills (Essential)
- Able to challenge the status quo and deliver innovative/unique way of doing business (Essential)
