The Nuclear Services Section is responsible for providing services to internal and external clients, environmental monitoring and managing radioactive waste.
The group is responsible for the safe, compliant and effective management of these materials including collection, decontamination, compliance management and preparation for future disposal.
This includes running projects to further develop capabilities in radioactive waste management.
- Full-time permanent position
- Monday to Friday 08:00 - 4:00pm (Overtime optional)
- Salary negotiable depending on experience (Base up to $70,000 per annum)
- Customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with various internal stakeholders building rapports with other department representatives
- Ensure effective and compliant service for the collection, transportation, storage
- Establish and maintain productive relationships and provide advice to internal customers
- Collection of waste across the nuclear site liaising with various departments
- Provide written and verbal advice and feedback to management on equipment performance and waste processes to drive improvements
- Maintain accurate data / records in the inventory databases
- Facilitate learning, mentoring and sharing knowledge with new team members
- Australian Citizenship is a requirement for this role
- Australian Drivers licence (Minimum P1)
- Work experience in a similar field desirable but not essential
