The Materials Sustainability Manager will lead the Artarmon Materials service lab in the provision of best-in-class materials support to the global Weir Minerals business. They will do this through the development and execution of the sustainable materials agenda.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead in the development and deployment of sustainable material solutions.
Represent Applied Materials Technology Group in global best practice and product forums.
Lead the laboratory team in delivery of materials services technical assistance to sales, marketing and operations.
Maintain Global Materials Database in TeamCenter to support engineering design and SAP.
Coordinate the annual R&D tax concession applications.
Manage materials lab within assigned budget.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Master's degree with 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity.
