ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a broad and dynamic role offering extensive involvement in both mathematical modelling and game design. As a Mathematician within the Game Design team, you will be at the heart of creating exciting and engaging gaming experiences.
- Develop and optimize mathematical models for slot machine games to ensure balanced and captivating gameplay with a particular focus on probability
- Collaborate with a creative team to produce innovative game features and mechanics
- Analyse game performance data to refine and enhance game dynamics
- Work closely with developers to implement game design concepts and ensure technical feasibility
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends to incorporate the latest innovations into game designs
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new game ideas and concepts
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Provide detailed documentation and reports on game mathematics and design processes
ABOUT YOU
- A degree in Mathematics, Statistics or a related field, MSc or PhD advantageous
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data
- Demonstrable knowledge of probability-based mathematics and modelling techniques
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Highly creative with a passion for gaming and a keen eye for detail
- Committed, flexible, and a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
