Demand Planner at DHL, you'll overcome daily logistical challenges to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly. In this job you will- Manage suppliers against agreed KPI's including ordered versus received and on time delivery
- Carry out demand planning, forecasting and procurement of imported and local finished goods
- Proactively service customer issues via telephone and email
- Ensure compliance to statutory obligations
- Drive process improvement
You have the following qualities & qualifications
- 2-3 years demand planning or purchasing/procurement experience
- Understanding of master production schedules
- Experience managing short shelf life including Batch Control and best before dates preferred
- Supplier Management experience preferred
- Superior communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to work outside standard hours
