MC Driver - Milk Collection

We work with milk processors and their factories, our job is:

• to get the milk collected from the farmer as accurately as possible, 
• ensure that flow meter data and sampling is is accurate so that the farmer gets paid accurately, 
• adhere to NHVR and safety regulations, and
• get the milk delivered into factories on time, so that the processors have their milk product on time, every time!

We are looking for an intelligent and enthusiastic professional who has leadership qualities who can take charge when required!

• The “hierarchy” that sometimes occurs in other yards, does not occur here, our trucks are attributed to runs, not drivers.

What is the role?

• Rotating day and night time roster.
• Picking up milk from farms (Darling Downs area) and delivering to factories.

What we expect from our team

• Pride in appearance (uniform and PPE supplied).
• Friendly to the farmers.
• Friendly to the factory workers.
• Pride in cleanliness of your truck.
• A good driving history.
• Obey road rules; fatigue management, zero alcohol and drug use, no use of phone whilst driving, advising manager if prescribed medication that could make you drowsy etc.
• NHVR adherence.
• Proactive attitude towards mechanical maintenance.
• Adherence to no smoking in vehicles.
• Positive view to data recording.
