Position Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Road Train Operators to join our team. As a Road Train Operator, you will play a crucial role in the transportation of materials across various routes. You will be responsible for safely operating road trains, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials for our customers.

Machines:

• Kenworth and Mack Trucks 
• 18 speed road rangers & automatics 
• Side tippers – triple or quad combinations 
• CAT980-988 or WA500-600 Front-end loaders 

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate road trains, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
• Load and unload materials, using a front-end loader. 
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel, and delivery times.
• Follow company policies and procedures for vehicle maintenance and safety.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Current & Valid Commercial Driver's License with appropriate endorsements.
• Commercial Drivers Fatigue Management Certificate (validity within 2 years)
• National Police Clearance (validity dependant on site)
• Proven experience as a Road Train Operator – carting triple side tippers and self-loading with a front-end loader.
• Experience operating in an on-road and off-road environment. 
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
