MD Project Coordinator - Launceston Clinical School
- Contribute to a positive student experience
- Part time (0.4FTE), Fixed Term (3 years)
- Based at the Launceston General Hospital
- Facilitate development of research projects and ensure a positive experience for students and supervisors participating in MD projects.
- Use project management knowledge to coordinate and oversee Clinical School medical student professional practice and research projects, in close collaboration with the academic and other Clinical School staff.
- Develop and deliver education and training in project management and research skills within the medical curriculum.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of productive and effective links inside and outside the University including with industry partners and the wider community.
- A PhD in a relevant discipline or a Bachelor level qualification in a relevant area with subsequent project management or research experience in a health care discipline
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a member of a team in the successful management of projects.
- Demonstrated experience or capacity to contribute to undergraduate teaching using online and face-to-face delivery modes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, staff and stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds.
